Taking cues from the gothic-ambient sounds of early 90s Projekt records, classic shoegaze, and the etherial sound of early 80s 4AD recordings, Drosera (named after the sundew family of carniverous plants) explores the dark mysteries connecting human emotions with the natural world of Southeast Alaska.  Should appeal to fans of Lycia, Slowdive, Brian Eno, and Dead Can Dance.  If you're into dark stuff, this is a truly gorgeous album.
